ABOUT CLAINES

The Church sits at the centre of the parish, with the very well-known and popular “Mug House” public house in the church grounds. Both enjoy an excellent relationship with each other!

A few hundred yards away is Claines Church of England Primary School, closely linked with the Church since it was established in 1841.

Claines has much historical appeal but continues to be a thriving community, as well as a beautiful oasis, a conservation area and a place of spiritual appeal. To see some introductory photographs of the church and parish see the gallery below.

Claines is a semi-rural parish, north of the City of Worcester, in England.

It is home to around 5000 people and is an ancient parish, with a church that has served its people for over 1000 years.

Within the parish there are a wide range of groups and activities covering a range of ages.

This site provides current details and news of the church, its activities and people. It also provides items and photographs of historical interest. Take some time to explore it, but most importantly visit Claines itself and share our parish with us!
