 Congratulations to Nick

Our very best wishes and congratulations to Nick Kaleniuk who was ordained Priest at Worcester Cathedral on Saturday July 3rd.

Nick and his family have been with us in Claines since July last year, where Nick has been working as a Deacon.

Nick was ordained by the Bishop of Worcester, with 10 other candidates in a packed Cathedral on a glorious summer day.

The service was conducted by the Bishop of Worcester, The Rt Revd Dr John Inge. The candidates were supported by family and parishioners from all over the Diocese.

Nick was well supported by Claines parishioners; Vicar Stephen Agnew, Revd Jenny Hayward and readers Jean Smallwood and Jean Gardner all participated in the service.

It was also a day of great excitement for Nick’s family.

Nick will celebrate his first communion at Claines Church on Sunday 4th July and will continue to serve with us for at least another year before taking the next step in his ministry.

We wish him and his family every success, thank him for his ministry to date and look forward to his work as a fully fledged Priest!
