Congratulations to George Sansome, aged 13, who has been chosen as the 38th Boy Bishop of Claines.
George was installed as Boy Bishop on Sunday, 7th December and will undertake his duties until Holy Innocents Day on 28th December. His duties will include reading at the major services, taking communion to the sick and elderly of the parish and also preaching on Christmas morning.
His duties will end with Compline on Sunday 28th December where all former Boy Bishops are invited to a re-
George is keeping up a family tradition, his brother John having served as the 36th Boy Bishop and his father as the 2nd in 1972.
